The Elysee Palace said in a statement that French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron discussed Syria by phone the previous day and agreed to act together to increase the pressure of the international community on Syrian President Bashar Assad, also confirming that the next meeting of Friends of Syria would be held in Paris.

"The massacre in Houla and recent incidents in Syria and Lebanon once again indicate that actions of Bashar Assad regime are dangerous for Syrian people. Senseless murderous brutality of the Damascus regime is a threat to regional security and those responsible should be held to account for their actions" the statement said.
