DEAL REACHED ON CONSTITUTIONAL PANEL IN EGYPT

Representatives of 22 political parties and supreme military council officials decided to form a constitutional panel following a 7 hour meeting.

The previous panel as boycotted by secular parties on the grounds that it was dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The agreement comes after Egypt's ruling military council said Tuesday it would issue its own blueprint if political parties failed to come up with one within 48 hours.
