Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu spoke on the phone with U.N. and Arab League special envoy for Syria Kofi Annan.

Annan called Davutoğlu prior to his Syria visit, exchanging views on latest developments in Syria.

Annan also assessed work carried out by U.N. observers in Syria. The situation in Lebanon was also taken up during the telephone conversation.
