Abbas is one of the prominent guests of the World Economic Forum in Istanbul.
Sharing with world public opinion once again the problems faced by the Palestinians, Abbas said that Israel did not fulfill the decisions taken by international organs and did not come close to a consensus. Abbas said further that 45 years had passed since the occupation of the West Bank but a two-state solution faced many problems with Israel's illegitimate expansion of the settlements being the biggest stumbling block and added that Israel aspired to separate east Jerusalem from the entire Arab region.
Palestine Head of State Abbas also touched on the project and investment opportunities in his country and invited investors to Palestine. He said further that if investors came to his country not only would they take steps toward profitable partnerships but they would also see the searing isolation of Palestine.
